Dr. Larry M. Kjeldgaard is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He continued his education with an internship at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. His orthopedic residencies were completed at Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan and at the Northeast Community Hospital in Bedford, Texas.
Dr. Kjeldgaard is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He performs general orthopedic surgery as well as complex and minimally invasive spinal procedures, including total lumbar disc replacements. He has been practicing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for 20 years. He is also the team physician for several local high schools, and the Dallas Diamonds professional football team. He is a member of the Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Orthopedic Association, American Osteopathic Association, Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He has attended and completed numerous special educational programs on orthopedic surgery, procedures, and advances in surgical techniques.
He is affiliated with Southwest Surgical Hospital, North Hills Hospital, Baylor Medical Center at Trophy Club, and at Baylor Grapevine.
He currently lives in North Richland Hills, Texas with his wife Linda and two sons, Mitchell and Trenton. He is a member of the Davis Boulevard Baptist Church. |
