Meet the Shoulder Pain Expert: Dr. Nicholas Iagulli
When he’s not working with his patients at Trinity or helping a local sports team as their team sports physician, Dr. Iagulli gives lectures around Dallas, Fort Worth, and across the nation. Several times a year, Dr. Iagulli flies around the country in order to help as an instructor of courses on arthroscopic surgery.
These courses range from entry level, residency, and advanced Master’s courses. From the double row technique of rotator cuff repair to newer techniques and more advanced arthroscopic procedures, he tours the country, sharing his knowledge with labs, other surgeons, and students.
On top of being a top notch educator, Dr. Iagulli has also been published in numerous medical journals. Recently, his paper on partial thickness, or partial repair of massive rotator cuff tears, was published in the American Journal of Medicine. No matter how busy he gets with his work at Trinity Orthopedics, Dr. Iagulli always tries to continue his research so that he can make advances in the field of arthroscopic management of injuries, particularly shoulder pain. He is also highly experienced in the use of diagnostic ultrasound, allowing him to treat any and all patients.
Like the other doctors at Trinity Orthopedics, Dr. Iagulli believes that the key to an amazing patient-physician relationship is personalized attention. He knows that it is important to take the time and have the patience to listen to patients so that you can figure out what is really bothering them.
He also believes that it is vital for patients to fully understand what is going on in their body, so he sits with them after the physical exam and labs so that they can put the pieces together and find out the problem as a team. All the doctors at Trinity follow this process because they know that their patients want to get back to life as soon and easily as possible.
If you are experiencing shoulder pain or any other sort of pain, Dr. Iagulli and the other doctors at Trinity Orthopedics can help you. Contact our office to schedule an appointment.
