Meet Dr. Scott Gibson
Dr. Scott Gibson is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, fellowship trained in shoulder & elbow surgery, who practices general orthopedics and specializes in shoulder surgery and sports medicine.
He obtained his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Gibson then completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Oklahoma State University at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He continued his training by completing a Shoulder & Elbow fellowship at the prestigious CORE Institute in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Gibson has a special interest in treating complex shoulder problems and can perform advanced procedures including total shoulder replacements, reverse shoulder replacements, rotator cuff and labral repairs. Additionally, he has extensive experience caring for sports medicine injuries, orthopedic and pediatric trauma, along with knee and hip injuries. As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Gibson takes a holistic approach to musculoskeletal care combining advanced non-surgical and surgical techniques.
Outside the office, Dr. Gibson is a sports enthusiast and family man. As a former college basketball player at Colorado College, he understands the nature of competitive sports and treating sport related injuries. He and his wife, Jane, have a beautiful baby daughter along with two large dogs, a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd mix. They are Christians and are actively involved in serving at Life.church in Keller, TX.
