Keeping Patients Educated
The orthopedic doctors at Trinity Orthopedics in Fort Worth believe that the best kind of patient is an educated patient. We sit down with our patients and learn about how they feel so that we can teach them about their condition. Once they understand what is wrong they begin to feel more comfortable and are better able to participate in the development of their treatment plan.
In order to ensure that our patients are completely comfortable, every doctor at Trinity Orthopedics spends time with a patient and shows them the x-rays and images, pointing out the findings to them so that they leave with a basic understanding of what is going on and the ability to visualize it in their mind. This allows us to work together and choose the best option for them.
The easy route for orthopedic surgeons is to quote studies, determine the best procedure, and go to surgery. The doctors at Trinity Orthopedics are fully aware that this would streamline treatments, but it doesn’t necessarily determine the best treatment for each individual.
We take the time to get specific with every patient so that we know everything about your condition, from how long it has been a problem to the smallest things that make it better or worse. Each one of these is a piece of the puzzle that makes your treatment unique. We put these pieces together to build your treatment.
We strive to make the process as simple as possible from the moment you contact our practice. Whether it’s by phone or Internet, you’ll be talking to a member of our staff, not some outsourced person who is completely disconnected from us. We know that your time is important, just as we believe ours is, so we work with you to have your appointment scheduled quickly and the paperwork done as soon as possible.
This means that we can see you when you come in instead of having you sit in a waiting room, filling out paperwork for hours on end. We work hard to ensure that you are prepared to be seen and taken care of.
